GOVERNING COMMITTEES
Three Governing Committees made up of border community foundation staff and board members and representation from funding partners work with Synergos staff to consult on BPP activities and resources. The governance structure of the partnership firmly reflects the underlying principals of partnership and co-ownership upon which the BPP program has been built.
Representation on the three committees is determined through a democratic election system. Committee membership is renewed every two years. Equal Mexican and American representation is sought on all three committees. Committees meet approximately 3-4 times a year via teleconference and around BPP learning events.
